Livigno, painted for your holidays... come and discover it!!

Livigno is a delightful town beautifully nestled in the National Park of Stelvio in the Upper Valtellina. Its enchanted valley extends for 15 km between two mountain chains that delicately descend from a height of 3,000 m to 1,816 m. In 1980, during the first edition of the ‘Trofeo delle Contrade’ (Trophy of the Town Districts), the traditional Nordic skiing competition which takes place here at night along the streets of the centre, the Cross Country Skiing Lovers Group decided to divide the town into districts. Until then, the town had not been subdivided, except for a loose distinction among hamlets linked to the main churches of Saint Mary (the Spazzon district), of Saint Rocco (Trùzz district), and Saint Anna (Trepál district). Now, instead, Livigno boasts eight districts: Centro, Comunìn-Pemont, Forcola, Ostaria, Plàn da Sora, Saròch, Teòla, Trepalle.
